I didn’t open SMOKE-ES because life was easy. I opened it because after my dad passed, I had a fire inside me that needed direction. That kind of energy doesn’t sit still—it either pulls you down or drives you forward. I chose to move forward.

SMOKE-ES was built in honor of my dad, my mom, my dog Smoke-E, and my dad's observatory—The Banner Creek Science Center and Ford Observatory. With an extensive culinary background, I’ve crafted some of the best Cheesesteaks and Italian Fusion dishes you’ll find anywhere. Our passion is delivering an outstanding dining experience that leaves a lasting impression.

Our mission goes beyond great food. We’re dedicated to supporting the Banner Creek Science Center and Ford Observatory, home to an incredible science program for kids and the largest telescope in Kansas, which can even be viewed remotely from your home.
